okay, i'm officially excited about the holidays. i have gotten sorta back on track. i've got most of the shopping done, most of the cleaning done (i'm nearly caught up with the cleaning plan), christmas cards are almost done, planning is mostly done (just needs some finishing up) . . . the calendar is looking great for december, there is snow on the ground (1/2 inch maybe), i may even get some scrapbook time this month.
i love december. . . the weather, the sounds, the lights, the smells, the anticipation and excitement, the whole spirit of christmas. we have yet to decorate the tree and get all the decorations up around the house; but we do have most of the lights outside, the tree is in the house, and the kids are excited because a few presents are wrapped. tomorrow starts off a great month. i'm going to try to stay positive in everything we do.
