too long

wow. . i've been putting this off for too long. i actually read my old blog this morning and decided that it's good for me to blog. . then i have my feelings written down somewhere. my new calling is really busy. YW President. . i'm starting to love it though. it's taken me four months to love it. at first it was so scarry. . the unknown. i didn't really know what direction to go or what to do. there are still things that i am learning, but i'm just trying to take it one step at a time and have faith that things will all work out. i have the best ladies working with me. without them, i would never make it.
summer's gone and done. the kids are in their first week of school. rusty and riley are in the fourth grade, bryant is in kindergarten (lovin' it!) and macy starts preschool next week. my little ones are growing up.
rusty and riley showed their first sheep in the fair last week. they both received blue ribbons, and rusty got a star choice. they did an awesome job for their first year and learned a lot to help them next year.
scrapbooking is becoming very scarce with me. i wish i had more time to put into it, but it seems when i get time, i'm just overwhelmed and don't know where to start. i've got to just dive in and overcome that feeling. . i want to.
shane is on the big hunt for deer and elk right now. we're going up the canyon for labor day weekend so that he and aj can find them a deer (or elk). it should be a fun camping trip anyway. . probably the last one of the year for us.
just wanted to take a minute to catch up. . better go try to catch up with the rest of the house.
