no kindergarten.

kindergarten assessments are this week, so macy will be home with me all week. one last week for us to enjoy being at home alone together. it's nice. we went to her assessment today with Mrs. Vance. macy did really well. i think she'll probably pick up reading about as quick as bryant did. she's very excited about school. . i think she enjoys the social life too.
i made salsa today. . it's sooo good. i got sixteen bottles out of one batch. i didn't even cold pack them, just put the lids on them while it was good and hot. . all of them sealed but one. . which just means that we have to put that one in the fridge and eat it instead of storing it. . dang the luck, hu??!!
went to mutual tonight. . we had a pres mtg at 6 and mutual at 7. . which explains why i was ready to get home as soon as it was over at 8:30. .but i didn't get home until after 9. . waiting for parents to pick up their kids and taking extras home. . i'm probably very selfish, but i'm getting real tired of it! can the parents be responsible for their own kids. . or is that the responsibility of the leaders every week??? there has to be solution. . i think all the leaders are as tired of it as i am. . we all have families that we want to get home to. BUT we ARE there to serve the young women. . (but not to serve the parents) did i say that?? man, i'm grouchy about it.
