bryant got his kindergarten shots last week. . he was so big and proud. . he didn't even cry. . until he got his fingers shut in the door of the doctor's office. the shots didn't bother him much. . until two days later. he was swolln up on the left side like there was a tennis ball inside his little love handle. . i didn't even take a picture. . uughh!! he was swollen and red and hot. . i thought he might have had an infection. . but it's okay now.
Travis came home from serving a mission in OK. He flew in saturday. we took rusty and riley to the jazz game on friday night, stayed at the Red Lion in SLC, and went to the airport on saturday morning. . bryant and macy stayed with aunt janet friday night, and brady and kristy picked them up and brought them to the airport. Travis looks good. i think the transition back into the world is a little hard for him. . how could it not be??? i think he'll get back to his funny little self before too long, though.
Jason and Brooke were supposed to have Halley blessed on Sunday. . but jason had to have an emergency apendectomy late saturday night. . so they'll have to do it another time. On sunday, i found out that my third grade teacher had a heart attack and died. . just one tragedy after another around here. grandma andersen fell on thursday. she was walking out to the car and fell off the steps. . she smacked her head on the car and had to get about 50 stitches. . she looked horrible on saturday. . puffy black and blue eyes, swollen forehead. . but on sunday she looked a little better. . the swelling in her eyelids had gone down and i could see her eyes. . poor little lady. . makes me so sad to see her like that.
i've gotta go get the two little ones some lunch before they have the whole fridge unloaded. . i'll try not to be gone so long this time. a : )
