{Lambs 4 Sale}

Yep.. that time of year again. R & R have been taking care of their fair projects.. market lambs. This is their fourth year of raising and showing lambs for the county fair, and they're still learning. Each year we think we finally know what we're doing with these darn animals, and each year brings with it different learning experiences. This year was pretty uneventful, the only worry being that the lambs were gaining too much weight.. but we can't complain about that. B was a really good help with the lambs this year. We always tag a family extra (just in case), and B got up every morning with his brothers to walk and take care of that lamb. Next year when he's old enough to show, he'll already know how to take care of his lamb and will, hopefully, be fairly comfortable showing it.

I'm so proud of my boys and the ownership they take with their projects. They've learned so much resonsibility and made many good friends being a part of 4-H and the livestock program at the fair. They're learning to juggle many responsibilities.. while they have to care for their animals, they keep commitments to their baseball team, church duties, and still make time for summer FUN! Good job guys.. Love U!
