This weekend Macy had her first dance competition of the year to perform her solo. It was the Utah Dance Fest, and it was held at the Spectrum on the USU Campus. The floor is a college regulation size, and it was huge for those small girls. I would have been so scared to do a solo in that big stadium. She did an awesome job! Her timing was great, she remembered the whole dance, and her technique looked awesome. The judges gave her some super comments on the judging sheets, and she needs to work on being more "showy". She smiled really good, but it wasn't a "hey, look at me, i'm having fun" smile.. it was more of a "i'm concentrating and a little nervous" smile. We'll work on that for the next competition. Every judge commented on how beautiful she is. . and I have to agree. Super job sister. . keep up the good work!

Gotta love that Macy!! If she survives all those brothers she will be a PRINCESS!! She looks like a beautiful dancer...we should come and watch her sometime!!
